The Ghana Scholarships Authority (GSA) has officially commenced interviews for applicants under the 2026/2027 Local Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.
The nationwide interview exercise began this week and will run until Monday, August 18, 2026, at designated Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across the country.
In a statement issued in Accra, the GSA urged all applicants to log into their application portals to confirm their interview schedules and report to their assigned venues on the specified dates and times with all required documents for verification and assessment.
“The Authority encourages all shortlisted applicants to adhere strictly to the interview guidelines and wishes them success throughout the process,” the statement said.
The Authority also reiterated that the entire scholarship application and selection process is completely free of charge, emphasizing that it has not engaged any third party to assist applicants in exchange for payment.
Applicants and members of the public are therefore advised to report anyone demanding money or claiming to facilitate the scholarship process by contacting the GSA on 0302 962 928 for immediate investigation and action.
The GSA encouraged applicants to remain vigilant and rely only on official communication throughout the selection process.
